Wave2 Locator Admin Portal - Updating Locations - Photo Slideshows, Map Marker Images, and Logo Images
The Wave2 Locator Admin Portal location management screen allows you to override and customize the map marker images and logo/branding images for individual locations. It also allows you to upload an unlimited number of photos and then to assign them to individual branch or ATM locations to be displayed in a mobile responsive slideshow presentation.
Using the Image Settings
Review the navigation and manage locations help pages, then go to the Manage Locations screen, select your location to edit, and scroll down to the Images section. There you will see three features: 1) Marker image dropdown selector, 2) Logo image dropdown selector, and 3) Slideshow images dropdown multi-selector tool. You'll also see a link to the Media Library from the locator style section. Together, these tools will allow you to control your map imagery.

Using the Media Library
In order to override map marker or logo images, or to create and assign a photo slideshow, you must first upload your intended images into the media library and give them a meaningful and recognizable text description/name.
From the Manage Locations screen, click the link that says "Manage Media Library" just below the slideshow Images dropdown selector. This will take you to the Media Library in a new tab, as shown below.

To Upload an Image to Your Media Library
Click the Add a New Image button in the upper right-hand corner. Select the image file from your local files and give it a meaningful descriptive text name that you will understand later in a dropdown selector. Names such as "Main Street Branch - Lobby Picture" will help you know exactly what the image is later when it is important. Then upload the image to the Media Library.
IMPORTANT NOTE: please be sure your selected images are WEB OPTIMIZED and have a small file size; otherwise, your locator performance will suffer and your users will have a slow experience or missing images. Also, make sure your images are the correct size and layout for the task.
Once your image is uploaded, it will be shown in the library with a small thumbnail image, the descriptive name, and a complete URL to the image on our servers.
To Select a Marker or Logo Image for Override
Go back to the Manage Location screen, and scroll down to the Images section.
NOTE: If you have just uploaded new images to the Media Library, you will need to first reload the Manage Location screen in order to make those new images available in the dropdown selectors.
Select either the Marker or the Logo dropdown selector to override that image. Select the appropriate image title from the Media Library. Then simply scroll down and click the 'update' button to go live with this image override.
NOTE: If you want to use the default marker or logo image for this location type (branch or ATM for your institution) you will need to make sure that no override image is selected. You do this by selecting the very first entry in the dropdown (for example, where it says "Select Image only to override default logo"). This "non-selection" will allow the marker or logo to go back to default.
To Select an image for the Photo Slideshow:
Scroll to the Slideshow Images dropdown selector and click the checkbox next to any image titles that you'd like to include in the slideshow for the current branch or ATM location.
Finally, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click 'update' button to make these changes live.
